Aj and I went to Mt Views Locals Night last night!! All meals (except main) are $10 if you live in Richmond. Absolutely ridiculous!! I got my risotto for $10!! and it was sooo delicious. It was lamb with tandoori spice, peas and pumpkin. it was amazing.
AJ got his parma for $10 also. AGAIN RIDICULOUS! It was heaps yummy and massive.
We both really love this place.

So I live super dooper close to this place and have done so since Dec 08. Everytime I tell ppl where I live they say the same thing… Oh go to The Grand. Its great! And I always keep meaning to but FINALLY AJ AND I WENT! WOO!!!!
So Mondays:
Italian Night: Choice of 2 dishes with beer/wine $20
Wednesday:
Roast Night: Choice of 2 dishes with beer/wine $20
And all the rest of the days its the usual bar food in the bistro bit. Apparently the Dining Room is awesome too.
Anyway…. we went on Monday. I had the Roast Chicken with a panzanella salad (bread, tomatoes, beans, oil. mmmmm). It was sooooo yummy. However, as per usual, I forgot to take the photo. The salad was so yummy and fresh and the chicken had heaps of seasoning. So yum. AJ got the lamb roast with potatoes and fennel. It was really yum too. again… forgot to take a photo. HOWEVER. KK and AlMAX both got a parma which is DID get a photo of…. hahha.. Parma was yum too.

I found this pub one day last week when I got lost during my run. Its hidden away near bridge rd and the river. anyway. so the specials are:
Sunday, Monday & Tuesday : Locals NIght (you dont have to be local) 15 different meals for $15!!
Wednesday: Burgers and parma $13 plus trivia
Thursday: Steak night $15
So we went on Sunday. The parma got a great rating, the steak was ok - big bit of fat and the gravy was so so, my roo burger was good, except the chilli jam tasted like fish sauce adn was a bit dry.
The toilets were fukn feral though. Gross. On a Sunday?
But otherwise we really had a great time. Really really like the feel of the joint!!!!

Sunday: Parmas with choice of 5 toppings - Hawaiian, Mexican, Traditional, Bolognese and Meat Lovers $12. Lunch 12 - 3:30. Dinner 6 - 8:30.
So i finally made it to the ‘Spreagle’ as JimC calls it.
Here is a pic. You can get garlic butter, mushroom sauce of pepper. I had mushroom. it was heaps yum. and they pu it all over my chips…mmm… choice of chips and sald/steamed veg. Just my luck i got the smallest steak but it was still totally worth it. Get it in ya.

Went to this place on a Tuesday with GG, DC, AJ n Samantha. It was $12 parma night. but they have this special that is called Parmageddon and its a parma with salami as well. The Parms we heaps yummy and so were the chips. My risotto cost a measly $14 and was also very yummy and heaps filling! ON Thursdays they have Parmas of the World, with 12 kinds of parmas plus a boags for $17. They had french, italian, greek, USA… and the rest I cant remember! hahaha.
PLus the vibe in this place is wicked and they have a great outdoor area. GG and DC swear by this place.

Rising Sun!
Last Tuesday i went to the Rising Sun. AJ got the special Parma plus Pot $12 but i just got a steak sandwich for $13. super yum. my steak sandwich had beetroot and cheese in it as well and heaps of yummy thick chips. awesome deal. ajs parma looks yummy too. heaps of chicken, nice and thick. and with salad and chips! def recommend this place!
this is GemGem’s pizza at Temperance. hers was the eggplant and mushroom one. she said it was nothing to write home about. apologies for the photos being of the last slice. i totally forgot to take them earlier!
this was my pizza. its was seriously yum but i was the only one that liked theirs. i got the morrocan beef. yum.
so finally went to Temperance for the pizza plus stella or wine special. this is delaney and he got the ham pizza. he said it was kind of boring. but he did chose the boring ham one…. so what do u expect delaney? ;)
It is the old Frostbites for those of you who remember those frozen slurpees….i finally went to this place last week. i have to tell you. the service was SHIT! we had to wait for AGES and the guy had the whackest hair. NO THANX. oh and it was boiling hot in there. wtf? so my advice to you is skip this place for pizza and head to Lucky Coq just down the road.

Mountain View: This is AJ’s grilled chicken salad with sour cream and some vegies. it looked pretty yum and came in a crazy boat shaped bowl. he said it was yum but maybe a bit too much sur cream. also, he wanted me to tell you all that he hates the parma here. the cheese wasn’t crispy enough or something! but still.. this meal was $10. awesome.
